Albany Junior High School is a middle school on Auckland’s North Shore, offering a future-focused, strength-based curriculum for emerging adolescents. We serve a diverse community who appreciate all that is on offer in our unique school environment.

We are looking for an inspiring and passionate technology teacher, to join our technology faculty, for term 1 and term 2 2026. This is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave.

As a school community, we provide a caring and inclusive teaching and learning environment, with a strong pastoral support system. Our values of whanaungatanga and culturally relevant practice guide our philosophy, underpinning our teaching and learning.

Albany Junior High School operates under the PPTA, Secondary Collective Agreement and offers a minimum of 5 non-contact hours per week. Applicants from both the primary and secondary sectors are welcome to apply.

Applicants must be well versed in the NZC and have current NZ teacher registration. Applicants must have either NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
