About the school

Westlake Boys High School is a state secondary school in Forrest Hill on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand.

We have achieved huge successes in sport, music and in the classroom.

We have consistently been the top achieving school academically in New Zealand.

2024 Scholarship results were the highest of any New Zealand school ever, and it is the third year in a row that we have achieved at the top level.

Requirements

NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA 2022–2025).

The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from NZD 61,329 to NZD 103,086, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
