We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic teacher of food technology and hospitality to join our Technology Department in a permanent, full-time role starting in term 1, 2026 .

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team, in a school that values innovation, relationships, and student success. We welcome applications from both qualified teachers and those considering a teaching career through an employment-based training pathway .

The ideal candidate will :

• Have experience teaching food technology and / or hospitality, with strengths in the NCEA curriculum
• Have industry experience in hospitality and / or experience delivering ServiceIQ standards (an advantage)
• Demonstrate a commitment to culturally responsive practice and raising Māori and Pasifika achievement
• Be confident using technology and engaging in professional learning, including our Teaching to the North-East Relationship-Based Learning (RBL) approach
• Be willing to contribute to the extracurricular life of the college
• Hold a current New Zealand teaching registration (or be in the process of applying).
