OverviewAlbany Junior High School is a middle school (Y7–10) on Auckland's North Shore, offering a future-focused, strength-based curriculum for emerging adolescents.

Homeroom teachers deliver both academic learning and pastoral care to students.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative, supportive faculty who value collegiality.We are seeking an innovative and reflective educator who is passionate about designing teaching and learning experiences driven by formative assessment to meet the diverse needs of students.

Experience with Structured Literacy Pedagogy is preferred, alongside the ability to teach a comprehensive mathematics programme.As a community, we offer a caring and inclusive teaching and learning environment with responsive support systems and a highly positive culture which is firmly centred on the wellbeing and development of both students and staff.Albany Junior High School operates under the Secondary Collective Agreement and this position offers 5 non-contact hours per week.Applicants must be well versed in the NZC, have current NZ teacher registration.
