With our long-standing Corporate Operations Manager heading into a well-earned retirement, we're looking for a strategic and results-driven Group Operations Manager to lead and transform our operational procurement functions - Non-Trade Procurement, Fleet, and Property.
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs, this is a pivotal role where you'll drive innovation, deliver measurable savings, and align operations with PGW's strategic goals.
What you'll be doing :
Leading strategic procurement transformation across non-trade procurement, fleet, and property functions.
Driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvements.
Building team capability and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Embedding governance frameworks to manage risk, ensure compliance, and prevent value leakage.
Partnering with business units and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver enterprise-wide value.
Overseeing supplier relationship management, fleet optimisation, and property investment planning.
Championing sustainability and ESG integration across operational strategies.
What you'll bring :
10+ years' experience in procurement related and commercial or project management roles.
Proven leadership in procurement operations.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable commercial outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Experience embedding analytics, reporting, and digital tools to improve decision-making.
Deep understanding of strategic procurement, supplier performance, and governance.
Knowledge of sustainability and ESG principles and how to apply them in operational strategy.
Ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture aligned with PGW's values.
