Job descriptionPreferably previous experience in caregiving or providing personal care for adults. A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviours. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts. Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support. Full NZ driver\'s license. $23.84 - $29.10 per hour depending on relevant qualifications, with the ability to earn more as you gain qualifications. IDEA Services will support you towards completion of the Level 2, 3 and 4 Certificates in Health and Wellbeing qualifications. Generous long service leave entitlements plus insurance benefits after 2 years\' service. 5Refer a friend Bonus programme. FREE Employee Assistance programme service anytime you need health and wellbeing support.

As a Support Worker you will be supporting clients with complex needs, managing risk, ensuring safety, and providing individual care throughout the night. We would prefer someone who has previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care.
