You will drive marketing strategy and implementation, ensuring that effective strategies are implemented to continue to grow the brands and drive demand, and that total marketing investment is appropriately balanced to achieve short- and long-term commercial objectives.This high-impact, highly visible role requires a balance of strategic vision, compelling storytelling, local expertise, commercial acumen, and team leadership to deepen brand connection and deliver measurable growth within region.
You will represent the voice of the NZ consumer to global leadership, advocating for local nuance in consumer behaviour, retail dynamics and media landscape.
You will lead adaption and activation of the global marketing strategy, aligned to global priorities and brand standards and you will influence all stakeholders on what is needed for both Fisher & Paykel and Haier brands to win in-market, driving agenda-setting conversations for the market.
You will own end-to-end GTM planning and execution.
Leading localization of global campaigns to ensure cultural relevance, brand consistency, and commercial impact.
You will partner with product and sales to drive category expansion, channel activation, and promotion and marketing strategies across the market.
Championing a consumer-first mindset you will elevate regional insights to shape brand positioning, product strategy, and innovation roadmaps, monitoring KPIs across market, optimising marketing investments and driving continuous improvement, ensuring Fisher & Paykel and Haier portfolios are positioned for long-term growth.As a senior leader you will understand the importance of leading high-performing teams, you will understand the scope of mass to premium brands and may have experience specifically in durable goods with manufacturing companies.
You will be leading an in-house Marketing function and may possess agency experience at some point in your career.You will be able to perform at an extremely high level both strategically and operationally, with a passion for driving strategy, putting structured plans in place to achieve our strategic imperatives and have strong financial and analytical skills understanding.
You will possess an ability to develop and apply the best commercial and financial solution for the right situation, increasing market share.
You'll provide insights through analytics, understanding and focusing on what creates whole of business value.
You will have expertise in the media landscape and familiarity with D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) channel strategies.
You will have the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, be decisive and able to advise and guide a team in the right direction.
