The Role
Reporting to the Asset Management Team Leader, this role is about applying technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and forward thinking to ensure assets remain safe, reliable, and future-ready.
You'll be responsible for lifecycle planning, replacement and maintenance strategies, and risk-based decision-making.
Develop, implement, and refine asset management plans across designated fleets
Monitor and analyse asset health, performance, and lifecycle expectations
Use data, modelling, and modern software to inform smarter decisions and identify improvement opportunities
Support the Service Delivery team with program execution and asset transitions
Contribute to contingency planning, asset disposal, and spares strategies
Ideal Experience
You'll bring :
A relevant tertiary qualification
Proven experience in asset management (within electricity distribution, utilities, or infrastructure)
Strong technical knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and risk management
Analytical strength – turning complex data into clear decisions
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
