Support Lead

Support Lead | Wellington | Permanent Full-Time

• Monday to Friday : 1pm - 9.30pm
• per hour + nightshift allowance after 8pm
• Forklift license advantageous

As a Support Lead, you are there to support our high performing processing team who are responsible for parcel sorting at our Wellington Super Depot, Carmel Terrace.

You'll engage and support the team by communicating and setting objectives.

Reporting to (and acting as, in their absence, a 2IC) to the Floor Manager, you'll provide support in leading the team in accordance with NZ Post's values and vision as well as managing resources within the operational needs and budget for the Processing area.

You will need to be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing, positive team culture.

You might be in a similar role and considering a change, or you may have been told that you are ready and able to step up into a supervisory position.

What we need from you :

Demonstrate confident computer skills

Commit to the shift highlighted above

Reliable transport to get to work on time

Minimum clean restricted NZ drivers license

OSH / Forklift Endorsement advantageous

Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the wider leadership team

Excellent communication skills to elevate the team culture and team performance

Have a high level of numeracy and literacy
