HOD guidance : 3MU, 2MMA, either 0.8 or 1.0 position

We are seeking an inspired, experienced, energised, proactive counsellor to lead a team of five counsellors, two receptionists and a wide range of itinerant therapists.

Mount Roskill Grammar School is a well-resourced, dynamic multi-cultural inter-city school with a vibrant student services department.

We provide quality counselling, and we run a wide range of proactive preventative well-being initiatives and student co-led groups.

Our HOD guidance works closely alongside senior leadership and its work is woven into the pastoral teams within our school.

We are a restorative and teaching to the North East school.

Both post-graduate qualifications and teacher registration are required.

Training in restorative practices, experience in traumatic incident response management and a passion for group work are highly desirable.
