Join Douglas in 2026 in apivotalrole focused onleading the Engineering function acrossourNew Zealandmanufacturing operation.You will provide strategic leadership and operational direction to theEngineeringteam, ensuring our equipmentoperatesreliably and efficiently at all times.As a key member of the Douglas Manufacturing Leadership Team, you will driveproduction and facilities assets performance, anddevise and deliver tocapital expenditure plans and championquality-focused, continuous improvement mindset.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role.As the leader of this critical service function, youwill work closely with internal and external stakeholdersincluding ManufacturingOperations,Supply Chain, Quality,R&D, Sales, andother internal and externalcustomers.Your abilitytodeployandmotivate the teamto meet and exceed customer expectationsis critical to ensuringoverallbusiness success.

  • Digital & Automation Enablement : Lead the Manufacturing thinkingin digital visionanddrive digital transformationthroughout the manufacturing value chainto achieve continuously improving efficiencies, enhance quality outcomes andavailability of important Business Intelligence data for agile tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Management : Prepare the annualEngineeringdepartment budget and forecast all Capital Expenditure proposals. ManageEngineeringbudgets and negotiate with suppliers to ensuremutuallybeneficialandhigh performancepartnerships.
