About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Regional Lead to lead and manage IT operations and SAP implementations across the New Zealand region. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP logistics modules and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end implementations in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee IT operations and ensure alignment with regional and global business objectives.
- Lead and manage SAP implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and standardize business processes through SAP solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regional IT escalations and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-plant production environments with diverse products and capacity constraints.
- Deep understanding of production planning, supply chain management, and system integration to prevent production disruptions.
- Proven ability to maintain robust system support and proactive issue resolution across planning processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems for real‑time production tracking, WIP management, and traceability.
- Skilled in maintaining and monitoring MES (SCADA)–SAP interfaces to ensure accurate and reliable data flow.
- Proficient in interface, EDI and interface integration management for seamless data exchange, ASN submissions, and error prevention.
- Experienced in implementing process automations to improve inventory management, reconciliation accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and audit processes to maintain financial accuracy and data integrity.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively between business and IT teams to ensure project and process alignment.
- Skilled in managing the full project life cycle, including strategy, planning, execution, and delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience providing clear project updates and facilitating decisions.
- Experienced in conducting Steering Committee and Status Review meetings to monitor progress and resolve project issues.
- Ability to collaborate with third‑party IT vendors to ensure timely project support and system stability.
- Competence in risk and issue management to maintain project momentum and prevent disruptions.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and user training to drive successful adoption of new systems.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management for secure application user setup and compliance.
- Capable of managing project closure activities and obtaining formal business sign‑off upon successful completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT management and SAP implementation.Expertise in at least one SAP logistics module : MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), or SD (Sales & Distribution).Proven experience in 4–5 full‑cycle SAP end‑to‑end implementations.Strong understanding of IT governance, infrastructure, and security best practices.Capability to establish and nurture strategic business partnerships.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.Experience in logistics or manufacturing industry is a plus.NZ Work Permit or Residency is an added advantage.Job Title : SAP Logistics Lead
