Chef de Partie (BOH All-Rounder) — Full-Time

Home base : Hill House Café, Hillsborough (with the odd cameo at Farm House, Clevedon)

We cook from scratch, use great ingredients, and keep it friendly with our community every day.

The role (and why it’s fun)

bakery / pastry & cabinet production : mixing, proofing, baking, slicing, icing / glazing, finishing, setting pars, and keeping the cabinet looking gorgeous.

Support High Tea pastry prep and sweet bites.

Jump on the hot line when needed.

Own your mise : stock rotation, waste control, tidy station, clean-as-you-go.

Food safety matters : temps, labels, allergens / cross-contact (we take coeliac care seriously).

You’ll thrive here if you :

Have 1+ years as CDP (or you’re a strong Commis ready to step up)

Are tidy, fast, and calm under pressure, with sharp knife skills and great comms

Understand dietary needs (coeliac, pregnancy-friendly, halal-friendly)

Have NZ work rights and a full driving licence is a PLUS
