This fantastic opportunity is a full-time, permanent role, based primarily at our Auckland Customhouse. For the right candidate, we may consider Wellington as an alternative base location.

The role of the Manager HR Recruitment and Training, Operations is to lead the delivery of core people services to the organisation’s largest operational business unit. It ensures recruitment operations, workplace training, and frontline HR support are consistent, scalable, and aligned with guidance from the centres of expertise within HR, translating strategic direction into practical, high-quality service for operational leaders and staff.
Operating as part of the HR leadership team, the role supports a joined‑up, forward‑looking function that delivers on its core responsibilities. It contributes to collective leadership across HR, helping ensure services are efficient, effective, and responsive to the organisation’s operational needs while sustaining a strong service culture and driving continuous improvement across the Operations portfolio.
