We are a well-established Chinese restaurant located in Auckland, known for our authentic cuisine, friendly service, and busy dining environment. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and support our daily operations.
Position : Restaurant Manager
Location : Auckland
Full-time : 30 hours / week
Salary : $30-$35 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer experience.
- Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Manage staff rostering, performance, and workflow to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor food quality, service standards, ensures all operations adhere to workplace health, safety, and food hygiene requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and place orders as needed.
- Liaises with external suppliers to secure quality products and coordinate regular deliveries
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and achieving business performance targets.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance service quality and profitability.
Skills and Experience Required
At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification (Level 5) in hospitality / Business management / Marketing / Accounting, and Finance, etc.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and lead a diverse team.Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.Why Join Us
