Provision of a safe and supportive environment to provide extended assessment, treatment and rehabilitation following an admission to the adult acute service Teaching skills to help support illness management and to support consumers to live the life they want to live Support development of structure and meaningful routines Support safe discharge into a community settingPlease include a cover letter. About You We will be looking for experiencedRegistered and Enrolled Nurse, with mental health scope, who are passionateabout providing consumer centred care. Full time 0.94FTE opportunity available Rotating roster of 4 days on, 2 days off Work autonomously and as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team Skills and experience In order to be successful in this role, the following is required : Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC and mental health scope Previous experience working within any area of mental health Self-motivated, flexible and solutions-focused Knowledge of and a commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
