Tasks involved in the role

Drive profitability through sales forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Ensure an exceptional customer experience with high product standards.

Support the Restaurant Manager in meetings, planning, training, and operations.

Provide accurate reports to inform decision-making and business insights.

Build a high-performing team through recruitment and talent development.

Deliver effective training and onboarding for team success.

Maintain strict health and safety compliance.

Optimize inventory management to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.

Implement preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.

Strengthen community ties through local non-profit partnerships.

Job pre-requisites

Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager, thriving in the fast-paced world of Quick-Service Restaurants.

Passion for food and customer care, with a deep commitment to manaakitanga and delivering exceptional service.

Resilience to power through challenges, never backing down from tough situations.

Coaching leadership style, with a proven ability to develop and inspire team members to reach their full potential.

High EQ and self-awareness, valuing open communication and continuous improvement.

Commitment to diversity and inclusivity, fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment that aligns with core values.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring top standards of cleanliness.

Tech-savvy, comfortable using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems to drive smooth operations and data insights.
