You'll be reporting directly to the GM and Finance Subcommittee and act as a key partner to business owners and internal stakeholders.Your Remit Will IncludeFull oversight of finance operations — GL, reconciliations, payroll, and inventory (including import / export)Preparing accurate monthly and year-end reporting (including consolidated accounts)Leading tax compliance (GST, FBT, PAYE, Income Tax) and maintaining financial controlsDriving budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and financial modellingProviding insights to help shape business strategy and performanceSupporting system and process improvements to drive greater efficiencyYou'll BringWhat We're Looking ForCA qualification and experience in a financial management or senior accounting roleStrong working knowledge of NZ GAAP, tax compliance, and group financial reportingProficiency in Xero, Unleashed, and advanced ExcelSharp attention to detail, clear communication skills, and strong commercial instinctsA proactive mindset and comfort operating in a small, dynamic teamBonus if you also have : Experience in inventory or sales-focused businessesExposure to finance system implementation or improvement projectsA hands-on attitude and interest in how finance supports operational successWhy NZESL?
