About the Role
We are looking for a high‑impact Client Strategy and Growth Director to join our Auckland‑based leadership team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will strengthen client partnerships, lead cross‑functional teams and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Champion innovation by exploring new eCommerce opportunities, piloting new tools, and driving the integration of AI‑driven solutions across client strategies and internal processes.
- Contribute to revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies alongside the Managing Director.
- Ensure your teams’ work results in measurable business outcomes for our clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, translating their commercial goals into cohesive strategies and managing all client relationships across the region.
- Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive client business plans by your teams, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence.
- Monitor team performance to ensure the alignment of client budget and value delivered, balancing client outcomes with agency profitability.
- Provide supportive, coaching leadership and mentorship to the Client Success & Strategy, Project Management, and Digital Marketing teams to guide professional development and strategic client support.
- Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training, and foster a culture of high attention to detail and quality assurance.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience working in agency environments with a minimum of 3 years.Strong background in retail, eCommerce, and / or digital, with a minimum of 2+ years in a senior leadership role managing multiple team members.Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and building deep, lasting partnerships.General understanding of operational budgets, profit and loss dynamics and the ability to drive client profitability.Exceptional strategic thinking with a proactive mindset and natural curiosity for exploring new opportunities.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and maintain calm leadership under pressure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.Benefits & Perks
