About the role | Mo te tunga As a Senior Business Analyst, you will partner with the Corporate Portfolio and key stakeholders to identify business needs, document requirements, and support delivery of programme outcomes.
You will provide advice, facilitate workshops, and ensure solutions align with organisational priorities and technical constraints.
We have a range of initiatives that need progressing and we want your help to give them the right start.
You will have direct access to your business stakeholders and the delivery teams you will work with.
Key responsibilities include : Discovery produce ERDs / canonical models for master data; define stewardship, privacy content governance and migration planning.
Vendor / tool assessment (build vs buy, scorecards, TCO).
Controls risk-based sequencing to derisk ageing systems.
Public sector finance / GL experience (segment design, month end impacts, audit).
ERP / Oracle literacy : Contract / finance modules, posting rules, configuration artefacts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Property / Lease operations (lifecycle, SLAs, indexation, critical dates).
Proficient in the use of Copilot prompting for ideation.
Expertise in requirements management and documentation Familiarity with public sector processes and governance Experience in areas of HR, Property, Procurement, Finance, IT, Corporate Services Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to a senior level Proficiency with tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint HR process architecture AI / analytics product awareness (use case triage, metrics, guardrails, rollback) Sustainability reporting familiarity (activity data, emissions factors, auditability).
