Overview

Independent Contract Driver - Whangarei at Woolworths Group. Minimum 3 year contract to provide the delivery function for Woolworths customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage confidently with stores and diverse customers to provide exceptional service through online delivery.
• Drive a passion for great customer service, including completing accurate deliveries on time.
• Escalate customer issues and concerns that cannot be resolved directly to the store or contract managers.
• Ensure orders are loaded into the vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all food and safety requirements.
• Manage your own business operations, bring staff on board, and operate your own business effectively.
• Operate 6 days a week with delivery across 3 cycles per day; may require an additional relief driver to meet safety requirements.

Being the face of Woolworths for online customers, you should be trustworthy, confident, and energetic with excellent customer service. A full clean driver’s license for the past two years is required, along with good knowledge of the local area. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be looking to start your own business with the security of a well-known brand.
