We also provide national and international testing services for selected specialties.

Previous HPLC experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.You will be responsible for : Professional ResponsibilitiesActively engage in training and development opportunities.Collaborate with the Section Head to build a tailored professional growth plan.Foster a positive team culture by constructively addressing behaviours and supporting colleagues.Routine Laboratory DutiesPerform manual and automated assays, including basic troubleshooting.Use the laboratory information system for patient registration, data entry, and results access.Ensure quality and accuracy in all lab processes.Help maintain our ISO 15189 accreditation standards.Provide support across CHL as needed.Continuing Professional DevelopmentStay current within the MLS scope of practice.Pursue ongoing CPD to sharpen your skills and knowledge.Bring curiosity and a growth mindset to your work.Commitment to Te Tiriti o WaitangiHonor and respect cultural values and practices.Support Maori recruitment, retention, and leadership pathways.About youMLS registration or eligibility (provisional or full) with a current practising certificate.Experience in laboratory processes and quality systems (ISO 15189).
A methodical, practical approach with strong attention to detail.Great communication and organisational skills.Confidence with data entry and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel).
