We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientists or Technicians to join our Anatomical Pathology team.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position of 80 hours per fortnight, lasting for 12 months.
You will be eager to develop new skills and adapt to the specialized environment of anatomical pathology, working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Highly organized, detail-focused, and approachable, with a strong commitment to quality and patient care.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional accuracy, strong analytical abilities, and the initiative to thrive in this precise and demanding role.

To be successful in this role, you will need to :
A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills.
The ability to work independently, while in a supported role.
Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician.
Flexibility with your working hours will be invaluable to the team.
A sound knowledge of laboratory operations including safety, operation of equipment and hands-on practical Histology experience preferred.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
If you do not yet have your registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of becoming qualified.
