Security Team Member – Front Door

Mitre 10 Wellington Central is a brand new store in the heart of the City! As we prepare to welcome our community, we’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Security Team Member to be the friendly face at our front door.

About the Role

As a Security Team Member, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment for our customers and team. You’ll be stationed at the entrance, greeting customers, monitoring foot traffic, and helping deter theft or suspicious activity. You’ll also assist with health & safety protocols and support the wider team when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm and professional manner
• Monitor entry and exit points for security and safety
• Identify and report any suspicious behaviour or incidents
• Assist with emergency procedures and store evacuations if required
• Support loss prevention efforts and work closely with store leadership
• Maintain a visible presence and uphold Mitre 10’s values
