About the Role
As a Security Team Member, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment for our customers and team.
You'll be stationed at the entrance, greeting customers, monitoring foot traffic, and helping deter theft or suspicious activity.
You'll also assist with health & safety protocols and support the wider team when needed.
Responsibilities
Greet customers with a warm and professional manner
Monitor entry and exit points for security and safety
Identify and report any suspicious behaviour or incidents
Assist with emergency procedures and store evacuations if required
Support loss prevention efforts and work closely with store leadership
Maintain a visible presence and uphold Mitre 10's values
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in security, retail, or customer service is a plus
Strong communication and observational skills
Calm under pressure and confident in handling difficult situations
Reliable, punctual, and professional
A current Certificate of Approval (COA) is preferred but not essential – we can support the right candidate to obtain one
