Responsibilities
in the preparation and cooking of meals as directed by the head chef or sous chef.>
- Ensure that all ingredients are prepared and ready for cooking before service begins.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the highest quality of food production.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input and suggestions.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff as needed.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Basic knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.Understanding of food preparation methods, including grilling, roasting, and baking.Benefits
