Innovation Engineer

We're now searching for an Innovation Engineer to join the Jade Platform team, designing and developing AI-powered solutions that make large-scale Jade codebases easier to understand, maintain, and evolve.

This role is about enhancing the productivity of developers who build on the Jade Platform – helping them deliver more, faster, on a foundation they can trust.

This is not your average engineering role.

You'll work at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and tooling design – experimenting, iterating, and delivering solutions that make the Jade Platform stronger and more valuable for the whole community.

What you'll own

This role is all about applying AI to enhance the productivity of developers using the Jade Platform.

Design, build, and refine AI agents that can analyse, interpret, and explain large Jade codebases.

Integrate open-weight and provider-hosted LLMs into production-ready pipelines with an emphasis on quality, reproducibility, and maintainability.

Establish and evolve AI orchestration patterns that balance performance, accuracy, and cost.

Ensure solutions meet security and privacy standards.

What you'll bring

You're a software engineer with the experience, skills, and curiosity to turn ideas into AI-enabled outcomes.

Hands-on experience applying LLMs within pipelines, tools or products to create tangible customer value.

Experience with React and full-stack development, including Python & Terraform.

Strong knowledge and experience in AWS and / or Azure.

SQL and / or NoSQL database experience.

Strong ownership mindset – committed to delivering outcomes.
