We are looking for an Engineer, Fabricated Structures to join our team on a 12–18-month fixed-term basis to boost our team. You’ll work on 1-2 projects like WHOOSH, a revolutionary transport system that challenges the status quo in the transportation industry, and Switchback, the most flexible and unique adventure ride system on the planet!

Role

About The Role

• Designing welded structures to yield and ultimate strength failure criteria.
• Designing welded structures subject to fatigue loading and to meet fatigue life and failure criteria.
• Sizing and specification of welds to meet component and structure performance criteria.
• Compiling engineering design documentation and specifications for fabrication and / or construction.
• Engagement with fabrication and manufacturing, providing engineering handover, supervision, and manufacturing support.
• Engineering design of structural connections – e.g. bolted joints, riveted connections, flanged connections.
