Finance Support Assistant

Overview

An awesome organisation in central Wellington is on the hunt for a Graduate Finance Support Assistant to join their super friendly team.

You\'ll be supported by an experienced team leader who's committed to mentoring and helping you get a solid start in your career.

About This Role

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the accounting payable function.

Your main tasks will include but are not limited to :

High volume data entry of invoices

Prepare and process accounts payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner

Ensure GST and relevant compliance is correct

Assist in the processing of manual payments

Provide exceptional customer service to customers

They will teach you everything you need to know and there is a solid training program in place to set you up for success!

About You

To be suitable for this role you will be a recent graduate, who is eager to learn and looking for an organisation to grow alongside.

You will also ideally possess some of the below skills / experience :

Ideally, you would have recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Fast and accurate data entry skills

Friendly personality
