We are seeking a capable, level-headed Customer Service Representative to assist customers with enquiries and orders via email, live chat, and occasional phone calls.This is not a call-centre role.
You'll be working closely with the directors and technical staff, and will help shape the role as you grow into it.Previous customer service experience is not essential, but you must have experience working with people in a professional setting.
Because we sell chemicals, a STEM background is an advantage.
We are particularly open to recent university leavers in science, chemistry or related fields who can demonstrate excellent written English and a clear, logical approach to problem-solving.At Fraterworks, promotions are tied to measurable results, not tenure.
We want each team member to grow into bigger roles as their knowledge of our products develops.What we offerFull training in our systems, products, and fragrance raw material catalogue.Opportunities to grow into technical or specialised areas if desired.Free breakfast and snacks through the day.We're interviewing exceptional candidates as applications arrive, so please apply promptly.About the roleYou will : Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone calls, and live chat with accuracy, professionalism, and warmth.Provide order support, including tracking, invoice queries, and technical product information.Use a range of tools including ChatGPT and other AI tools, Shopify, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 for communication and task management.Assist with occasional administrative tasks to support the wider team.About youYou have excellent written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail.You are confident using computers and learning new systems quickly – you must be a fast learner.You enjoy problem-solving and communicating with a wide range of customers, many of whom are in the Middle East and United States.Experience or interest in perfumery, aroma chemicals, or cosmetic raw materials would be a significant advantage, but is not essential.EligibilityOnly New Zealand citizens and permanent residents already living in New Zealand will be considered.
