It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities.

OAR supports alumni in their personal and professional development, encouraging their involvement in university initiatives and community service.

By promoting a vibrant and engaged alumni network in Singapore and globally, OAR aims to strengthen the NUS community, enhance its reputation, and contribute to the university\'s mission of excellence in education, research, and service to society.Job DescriptionWork with the Deputy Director, Global Engagement, to engage alumni residing outside Singapore.Work hand-in-hand with alumni and overseas alumni groups in various countries to create a collegial community.Curate and organise alumni-focused events and activities in gateway cities.Support the Deputy Director to build a master calendar of OAR events and activities in key overseas cities.Lead and manage global alumni activity projects and project teams.Organise industry and company visits and talks relevant to alumni.Collaborate with other NUS colleagues on alumni activities, where relevant.Staff senior university leaders at international alumni events.Draft speeches for NUS leaders speaking at alumni events, when required.Support other OAR activities as and when needed.QualificationsA recognised degree with at least 12 years of proven track record in alumni engagement, community growth, or partnership or stakeholder engagement.A self-starter who is creative, resourceful and good with people.A good communicator with strong diplomacy skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
