OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to partner with our business units and drive a proactive, embedded approach to risk management.
Reporting directly to the Head of Risk, this role will be responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across Asteron in line with applicable Asteron risk policies, standards, and frameworks.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping Asteron's risk culture and ensuring that risk management practices are embedded in all aspects of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the enhancement of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework in line with regulatory and industry standards.Support the Executive Team in defining and monitoring risk appetite.Identify, assess, and report on strategic, operational, financial, and emerging risks.Ensure our risk profile remains current and reflective of business realities.Develop and refine risk policies, procedures, and tools.Deliver insightful risk reporting to the Leadership Team and Risk Committees.Oversee incident management, including root cause analysis and mitigation planning.Provide oversight and guidance on regulatory, breach, and compliance risks.Execute control testing plans and support timely remediation of deficiencies.Champion a strong risk culture through training, awareness, and engagement.Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure proactive risk management.What you bringA Bachelor's degree in Risk, Business, Law, or a related discipline.7+ years' experience in risk management, ideally within financial services or insurance.Deep knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory environments.Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.Experience with risk systems and GRC reporting tools.Why Join Us?
