We are still on the lookout for that special someone to join our team - a registered teacher / educator who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of tamariki in primary and intermediate schools across Counties Manukau?
CLM Community Sport is still on the lookout for the right person to join us as a HEALTHY ACTIVE LEARNING ADVISOR to work directly with selected primary, intermediate schools and kura across the Counties Manukau region to improve access to quality physical activity and healthy food environments.
Healthy active learning advisors will work with Boards of Trustees, principals, senior leaders and teachers of primary and intermediate schools to provide advice and customised support.
This will enable schools to strategise, plan and develop systems that contribute to the development of an active and healthy school culture.
Key responsibilities
Deliver targeted professional development to kaiako and kaimahi
Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools and local providers
Support schools in implementing quality physical activity and wellbeing initiatives
Leverage insights and data to inform planning and measure impact
Promote inclusive and culturally distinctive approaches to physical activity and nutrition
Foster sustainable systems and community links to embed long-term change
This role will involve working at various locations across the Counties Manukau area and requires the ability to be flexible with work hours.
