Workshop Controller

Overview

Southern Automobiles is a proud New Zealand owned, multi franchise automotive dealership representing Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Subaru, Suzuki and Nissan vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to lead our team of technicians. This is a vital link between our service advisors and technicians to ensure that jobs are prioritised, deadlines are met and customers receive exceptional service. This is a Monday to Friday role and you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and smooth running of the workshop. This will also include you being hands on with duties including WOF, diagnostics and small repairs when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead our team of technicians; ensure jobs are prioritised and deadlines are met.
• Oversee the safe, efficient and smooth running of the workshop.
• Perform WOF inspections, diagnostics and small repairs as required.
• Act as the link between service advisors and technicians to maintain service quality.
