Counter / Store Person

Overview

Blacks Fasteners is one of New Zealand's most progressive companies supplying leading-edge products and services to the engineering, manufacturing, building and construction industries as well as the general public. We are currently looking for an additional Store / Counter person to join our busy team in Invercargill.

Requirements

• Previous experience with selection, packing and dispatch of orders accurately and within tight deadlines
• Outstanding customer services and communication skills
• Understanding of inventory and stock management
• A sense of organisation and pride in maintaining a tidy store
• Juggling priorities without dropping the ball
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• An excellent Health and Safety record
• Experience in a similar role
• The ability to self-manage and balance the day-to-day priorities effectively
• A commitment to excellence in Customer service
• An excellent level of physical fitness
• Mechanical mind
• Applicants must be well presented and have a friendly and polite manner. Experience in the fasteners / service industry would be an advantage although not essential.
