Careers Advisor - 0.8 Ftte Part Time Permanent

Overview

Rangitoto College is seeking a dedicated, innovative Careers Advisor to join our dynamic and growing team.

This is a part-time permanent position (0.8 FTE) starting Term 1,

The role is 4 days per week, with scope to consider extending to 5 days with additional duties by negotiation to suit the needs of the school (e.g., relief teaching, subject teacher).

Responsibilities

Deliver high-impact, proactive one-to-one guidance for students, particularly Year 12.

Engage in student intervention and parental engagement.

Provide guidance aligned with Career Development, the NZ qualifications framework, and tertiary / alternative pathways.

Qualifications & Experience

Have a teaching diploma and be a registered teacher.

Have experience with or knowledge of the NCEA and the qualifications framework.

Be legally allowed to work in New Zealand.

Have a collaborative and constructive work style.
