We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Home Consultant to join our team in delivering an enjoyable building experience and a quality home.
This role covers the Waikato region stretching from Raglan to Matamata, Te Kauwhata to Piopio.Jennian Homes is all about delivering the home that our customers have always wanted.
Our New Home Consultants must be able to develop a real connection with our clients, identify their needs and deliver creative design solutions.
Your love for home design will shine through as you guide prospective customers through the journey of designing their dream home.
Your exceptional sales skills and passion for customer care will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with our customers.
Utilising our centrally located Studio J and show homes, the successful candidate will have access to industry leading support to maximise sales success.The role will take you from lead management, managing phone enquiries, face-to-face consultations, walking a client through the process from enquiry to sales conversion and much more.
You will prepare preliminary designs using Chief Home Designer and have the ability to provide preliminary pricing.Supported by a great team, excellent processes and systems and a dynamic brand, you will enjoy working somewhat autonomously and be highly self-motivated.
You'll need to have a real passion for the industry with a successful sales background, along with high attention to detail and sound knowledge of the residential building process.The hours are varied, there are evenings and weekends involved as it is very much a business that you will be building, and you will want to work all the hours you can to reap the rewards that can be achieved.Key AttributesSelf-Starter – motivated and prepared to put in the time and effort.Good Energy – high velocity, determined and focused.

Convert leads into sales with finesse and professionalism.Product Knowledge : Develop a deep understanding of our house and land packages, our design guidelines for non-standard plans as well as our standard plans to offer valuable insights to potential buyers.
Good knowledge of the building code, council requirements, developer and design committee guidelines and healthy homes legislation.Customer Care : Deliver outstanding customer service by providing a personalized experience to each customer.
Address inquiries, resolve concerns and maintain ongoing communication throughout the sales process.Relationship Building : Cultivate strong relationships with customers, building trust and rapport to encourage repeat business and referrals.Market Research : Stay up to date with the latest market trends, development area features, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and ensure we remain competitive.Prepare house and land package suitable for the current market.
Interpret your client desires and prepare preliminary designs and budgets.Grow your Professional Network : Grow your network of other professionals in the industry, attend property investor evenings, Chamber of Commerce events, Business after five events etc.This is a commission-based role for an independent contractor with great earning potential.
