Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and present a wide range of café and restaurant-style dishes.Bake breads, cakes, slices, muffins, and other sweet and savoury cabinet food items to a high standard.Develop and implement seasonal menus and daily specials.Monitor and maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency.Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards.Order, receive, and manage stock, minimising waste and controlling costs.Supervise, train, and support junior kitchen staff as required.Skills, Experience & Qualifications RequiredRelevant culinary or baking qualification (NZQF Level 4 or equivalent), or at least 3 years of proven work experience in a busy commercial kitchen or bakery.Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of dishes and baked goods.Strong understanding of food safety standards and allergen management.Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for producing high-quality food.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Employment DetailsFull-time permanent role : minimum 30 hours per week.Rostered shifts with weekends required and some public holidays.Pay rate : $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.How to ApplyApplicants should send their CV and references to :
