Responsibilities
- Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement across home furnishing services.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, including delivery, assembly, and installation partners.
- Ensure service partners deliver a high-quality customer experience and meet performance KPIs.
- Drive cost efficiency and negotiate within contractual frameworks to optimise service delivery.
- Collaborate across IKEA functions to implement improvements and support omnichannel development.
- Contribute to innovation and sustainability initiatives within the service fulfilment network.
Qualifications and Experience
Senior-level operations professional with a strong background in supplier management, service delivery, and customer experience.Proven experience managing external service providers and holding them accountable to performance goals.Confident in leading strategic and operational discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners.Strong analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset to identify and act on business opportunities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement.Natural relationship builder with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.Leadership qualities that foster accountability, innovation, and a high-performance culture.About this work area

This role is permanent, full-time.The expected start date is 17 November 2025.Work location : IKEA Sylvia Park, Auckland, New Zealand.Occasional early morning or late evening global calls and onsite visits to service providers may be required.A pre-employment check (including MOJ check) is required for final candidates.IKEA is a non-smoking workplace.We need people like you
