• About the Role
• The primary purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of a work programme that delivers high quality national coded data on cancer registrations, causes of death and discharges from private hospitals, as well as national leadership and subject matter expertise on the classification of hospital discharge data. There is a strong focus on delivering quality and accessible information in highly effective ways.
• About the Team / Service / Location
• The National Collections group provide nationally consistent health information to enable analytics and insights for evidence-based decision making in policy development, accountability and performance measurement and enabling ongoing research. This information contributes to improving the health outcomes of New Zealanders.
• About you
• To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced people leader with a strong understanding of the value of data and information with a delivery focus to ensure high-quality data curation. You will be committed to maintaining professional standards, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving continuous improvement.Previous experience working in the health sector and / or clinical experience would be advantageous to this role
