The successful applicant will be expected to deliver timely and accurate records and information management support services through duties including, but not limited to, filing of clinical health information, retrieval, storage, storage location movements, and all related duties that support records management and movements of all clinical health information.Click here to view the position description.About the ServiceThe Clinical Records Department provides clinical records support services across Waikato Hospital each day.
These records must be reliably and readily available to internal stakeholders (Emergency Department, Wards, Outpatient Clinics, Auditors, Clinicians, etc.) and / or the patient directly.
These records must meet the requirements set out in The Public Records Act
You will be customer focused with prior experience or exposure within information and records management, electronic records management, and data quality.
You must have a commitment to work to a remarkably high quality standard.
Applicants need to pay attention to detail, use their initiative and work to a high degree of accuracy.Applicants should display strengths in managing multiple tasks, conflicting priorities, stepping up to help others, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt at a moment's notice.
Your command of the English language should be clear and concise.A well-honed working knowledge of computer-based systems, e.g., Microsoft Office suite, and exposure or willingness to undertake further education in relation to medical terminology is required.
Previous experience with patient management software and / or systems is beneficial but not required.
