About the Role (your why)

The Endpoint Engineering team assists companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practices to follow and implement. The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience.

The Endpoint Engineering Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of Endpoint Engineering Specialists within the Intelligent Workspace group to ensure best practice support methodologies are executed, technical experience leveraged and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Our offices are based in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work / life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

What You'll Do

At the moment, as Endpoint Engineering - Operations Manager you will be focused on :

• Provide technical leadership and help drive a high performance culture within the team.
• Leading automation efforts, driving improvements and efficiencies, and overseeing daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.
• Validate and assist in the maintenance of the client's risk and issues registers.
• Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end user SOE environment and ensure best practice support methodologies are implemented.
• Assist with and drive the identification and implementation of shift left initiatives.
• Identify improvements / project revenue opportunities within new accounts and / or contribute to the Service Improvement register for existing clients.
• Ensure project design principals result in service improvements, efficiencies and / or cost reductions for the customer / Datacom post implementation
