- About the role
- In this role, you will be working from Dunedin Hospital as part of Ward 6C.
Ward 6C is a 12-bed acute assessment and treatment unit for people aged over 65 years with an array of mental health (along with some physical health) needs.This role has been created to assist with the growing demand in patient referrals for assessment and treatment services.
It is pivotal to the effective functioning of the wider Mental Health Service for Older People team, through provision of a systematic and organised approach to triaging patient referrals.
Shifts for this role are Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster :Mornings - 7am to 3.30pmAfternoons - 2.30pm to 11pmNights -pm to 7.15amAbout the Team / Service / LocationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.We take pride in all the services we provide, and our aim is to improve, promote and protect the health of our region.
