The Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Enliven Services, you will provide clinical oversight across our care homes, providing professional supervision to our clinical managers as well as direct management of 1-2 staff.
You will be a manager influencing the clinical direction of the organisation and driving initiatives for Presbyterian Support Otago to achieve clinical excellence.
You will manage serious complaints and provide guidance and support for incident reviews.
The wider Enliven team of residential managers and Quality Advisor, together with support of the Senior Leadership Team, will provide you with exceptional support to thrive and succeed in this role.

In this role, you will Be the "Champion" for clinical systems improvement and innovation.
Take a lead in designing and implementing improved processes of care.
Participate in determining priorities for resource allocation and quality initiatives Provide expert advice on clinical issues, using evidence-based practice Assist with the mentoring of clinical staff in the workplace.
Hours and Location : This is a permanent position based in our Dunedin office, working 32 - 40 hours per week.
Travel may be required within Otago.

About You You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate.
You will have leadership or management experience at a senior level, either in aged care or a similar environment, excellent time management and problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
A relevant postgraduate qualification (or working towards one) Current driver's licence Demonstrated ability to educate clinical staff at all levels and to communicate clinical information to non-clinical staff.
Skills and experience in computer systems to maximise the use of technology for improved service provision.
A passion for working with older people and a commitment to the total well-being of the older people involved in our services.
