The Tendering Manager is a full-time role and will be part of the Sales Team based in either Auckland, New Zealand or Singapore.
Purpose
The Senior Tendering Manager will lead BW Digital's global tendering function across international connectivity and data centre services.
This role is responsible for developing and executing tender strategies that strengthen our commercial position, drive cross-functional collaboration, and secure high-value contracts with enterprise, hyperscale, and government clients.
The ideal candidate will bring strong strategic insight, commercial acumen, and proven success in leading complex, multi-million-dollar bids from concept through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Tender Leadership :
Own and lead the global tendering process for high-value opportunities across subsea, terrestrial connectivity, IP transit, SD-WAN, and data centre services including colocation, interconnect, and edge computing.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement :
Collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations to shape bid strategies, pricing frameworks, and commercial narratives.
Bid Governance & Risk Management :
Ensure all submissions meet internal governance standards, mitigate contractual and operational risks, and align with long-term business objectives.
Client-Centric Proposal Development :
Oversee the creation of tailored, persuasive proposals that address client pain points, demonstrate technical and commercial value, and differentiate our offerings.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and procurement shifts to inform proactive bid positioning and strategic account targeting.
Qualifications & Experiences
8+ years' experience in tendering, bid management, or commercial leadership within the telecoms, data centre, or ICT sectors.
Proven success in leading and winning complex, multi-stakeholder bids across international markets.
Strong understanding of global connectivity infrastructure, data centre ecosystems, and enterprise procurement processes.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with tendering platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP) and CRM tools preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
