This is your chance to step into a key role in a dynamic supply chain environment where your work directly impacts production and efficiency.DescriptionReporting to the S&OP Manager, the newly created Supply Planner role will take ownership of production planning and inventory optimisation across multiple manufacturing sites.
We are looking for a big-picture, outside-the-box thinker who can identify improvements, challenge assumptions, and bring creative solutions to complex planning and system challenges.
You'll ensure the right materials and resources are in place to meet customer demand in full and on time, while maximising operational efficiency.You'll collaborate closely with Production, Sales, Finance, and IS teams to maintain accurate data in ERP and planning systems, generate reporting, and optimise the use of ingredients and inventory.
Your work directly contributes to meeting production goals, reducing aged stock, and supporting a high-performing supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain weekly production plans based on sales demand and inventory levels.Plan and publish production and distribution schedules, ensuring Supply In Full On Time (SIFOT).
Optimise use of liquid ingredients and inventory to maximise efficiency and minimise surplus.Maintain accurate ERP and planning system data, acting as a subject matter expert for INFOR / ERP systems.Generate and maintain BI reports and stock reporting for planners and stakeholders.Support stock management, aged stock prevention, and capacity planning across multiple sites.Contribute to S&OP schedules and provide input for capacity analysis.Maintain and update SOPs and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.Communicate production plans and forecasts with internal teams, suppliers, and transport partners.Key RequirementsTertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is beneficial.3+ years' experience in production planning or supply chain within FMCG, primary industry, or multi-site manufacturing; experience in dairy manufacturing planning is desirable but not essential.Big-picture thinker with the ability to develop creative, practical solutions to complex challenges.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in ERP (INFOR) and Excel; experience with BI reporting is desirable.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.What's in it for you!
