This role will act as 2IC to the Senior Operations Manager, providing support for Activities operations (Pools, Rink, Tube) during the afternoons from 3pm to close. The role supports activity managers and supervisors, focusing on core values, staff engagement, and operational needs at Tekapo Springs.
In addition, this role reports directly to the Star Gazing Team and leads its business and team.
Working hours are from 3pm to 11 : 30pm, Wednesday to Sunday, with possible seasonal adjustments.

Leadership

Support roster creation aligned with budgets.Monitor expenses and ensure accountability.Work with leadership on business goals.Lead meetings and track wage budgets.Star Gazing Management
Set strategy, budget, and targets for the team.Collaborate with marketing and reservations.Lead and support the star gazing team, including training and performance reviews.Innovate with new technologies and manage equipment maintenance.Other Responsibilities
