The Opportunity : Derive sales Operational Excellence and make an Impact

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Sales Operations and Process Excellence guru to join our New Zealand Sales team. This is a unique opportunity to own the operational integrity and process future for our entire sales function (across Grocery, Retail, On Premise national accounts and field) while benefiting from a progressive work model that values true work-life integration.

Reporting directly to the Head of Grocery & Retail, you will be the single most critical bridge between sales strategy and frontline execution, ensuring our teams have the information, data, systems, and streamlined processes they need to succeed.

Your Core Mission : Strategy, Data, and Execution Excellence

This role requires a senior individual who can balance daily operational excellence with a long-term vision for process improvement. Your key focus areas will include :

Technical aspects of the role :

CRM Mastery & Operational Integrity : Serve as the primary administrator and Subject Matter Expert for our core Sales CRM and field technology. You will ensure total system health, data accuracy, and provide expert first-line support to guarantee flawless execution by the field team.

Be the Data Authority : Transform raw data into the single source of truth for the Sales team. Design and deliver Power BI dashboards that track key performance indicators and bonus program success.

Design the Future : Lead the charge on operational efficiency. You will identify and implement modern, scalable processes for data management, forecasting, and field compliance.

Exceptional Influence : The ability to simplify complex data and technical mandates into clear, persuasive messages for stakeholders, driving consensus and adoption across the business.

Commercial Acumen : The insight to understand why the data matters, linking operational metrics directly to sales strategy, profitability, and high-level commercial decisions.

Systematic Problem-Solving : A meticulous, analytical mind capable of diagnosing complex operational bottlenecks and designing robust, scalable solutions.

Drive & Accountability : High capacity for self-starting, meticulous time management, and an unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality, reliable output.

What You Need to Succeed

Senior Experience : Minimum 5 years in a dedicated Sales Operations or Commercial Excellence senior role (ideally FMCG).

Technical Authority : Advanced, non-negotiable proficiency in Field CRM Administration, Power BI data visualization, and Advanced Excel data modelling.

Strategic Acumen : Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic narratives that inform senior leadership decisions.

Influence & Alignment : Exceptional communication skills with a track record of influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance).
