About the Role
An exciting opportunity awaits for a talented Information Management Advisor to join our Business Information Management team on a 6-month fixed-term basis, supporting us through a period of change.
You will be involved in key pieces of work, to help bridge the gap between delivering day-to-day activities and embedding new initiatives.
The Information Management Advisor is part of a team that manages our agencies information management systems, tools and processes, and provides information management advice and support so all staff have access to past and present information when they need it.
Your broad information management knowledge means you will support the Information Operations Team Leader in the development of technical information frameworks, policies and procedures.
Your extensive knowledge means you will be ideally placed to support the improvement and development of information management processes, tools and systems, contributing to the memory of the New Zealand Government.
About You
You are an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Information Management advisor with a broad range of experience.
You will enjoy responsibility and variety, and you will
Be an experienced and innovative information management advisor, who can influence in a confident manner, be willing to challenge how we do things and promote improvements in ways that benefit users of the systems
Be aware of emerging trends in information management, and be willing to share your knowledge and experience
Be confident using digital systems such as Microsoft365 and iManage to manage our information
Have a good understanding of Government information strategies and initiatives, the Public Records Act
Have proven yourself as someone who enjoys delivering service from the lens of a customer
Be someone who establishes and manages effective relationships with a variety of customers / groups and key internal and external stakeholders
