Intermediate Environmental Engineer

About the RoleA respected consultancy with decades of experience across surveying, planning, engineering, and environmental services is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join their growing environmental team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful stormwater management, three waters design, and environmental assessment projects while developing strong technical and client-facing skills.You will be involved in delivering high-quality environmental and civil engineering solutions across a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.

Working closely with senior engineers, you'll take on both design and field-based responsibilities, gaining valuable experience across the full project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include : Supporting stormwater management and environmental engineering design projectsAssisting with integrated catchment management planningConducting site inspections, data collection & environmental assessmentsPreparing reports, modelling & design documentationLiaising with clients, councils & stakeholders to support project deliveryProviding input to construction supervision and environmental engineering approvalsWhat We're Looking ForA degree in Environmental Engineering (or BEngTech, Diploma, NZCE, or similar)Strong working knowledge of three waters management and stormwater design principlesProficiency with Civil3D and MS OfficeExperience with field inspections, data collection, and reportingKnowledge of NZ environmental regulations and design standardsExcellent communication skills and a client-focused approachA full NZ driver's licenseWhy Join This Team?
